Mixtures...

On Wednesday our Mother Goose lesson was all about mixtures!
 Our MGT cirlce time songs:
March around the room and when you hear the words, "Mix it up" roll arm over arm!

We mixed paint colors and observed the changes that took place!  We made sure to predict what color each mixture would make first though!

MGT provided us with this science recipe card.  It was a great learning experience of making a liquid into a solid.  We also discussed what it means when something dissolves in water!

We ate our Jello Jigglers with our afternoon snack!

I placed ice cubes, water, and air in each balloon!  The kids could feel the weight of each state of water!
 Our water color mixing station!!!
Our sand and water station!  The kids played with the dry sand in one pan, and then mixed water with the sand in the other pan!
How adorable!

We also took our sand mixtures outside!

Two really great books about mixing colors!!!
Look who popped in our back door and surprised the kids with ice cream sandwiches today!!!  THANK YOU!

The kids are still having lot's of fun in our lemonade stand this week!
