On Thursday our Mother Goose lesson was all about magnets...
MGT provided the kids with the supplies to make a fun bird magnet...
The kids pretended a cat was chasing their birds, and they needed to find a safe place for their bird to rest. They searched for places in the room that were magnetic!
The kids were a little stunned to learn that my fridge is not magnetic...
We took out our magnetic board. The kids were encouraged to guess which item they thought was magnetic or not before testing it out...

I taught the kids that opposites attract. If you don't have opposites together the magnets will actually repel! The were so shocked!

Since we learned that opposites attract, we played an opposites Memory game that MGT provided for us!
Thursday was also water day for us!
We had some entertainment as we watched a person install gutters on the neighbors house. I was frightened to hear that two of the kids actually wanted to climb those ladders!
