Oh my goodness!!! We were SO LUCKY this morning!!! I scheduled a bike
day with the kids and then called law enforcement in the hopes that they
would come out and possibly visit with the kids. Not only did an
officer come right away, but he passed out free DQ coupons to reward the
kids for all wearing a helmet! He talked with the kids for a bit, let
the kids (who wanted to) sit in the backseat of his car, and showed his
lights and siren!!! We were so very grateful!!! What a fun learning
experience. To all the officers out there...words cannot say enough how
very much we appreciate and honor all that you do!!!! Thank you!!
The kids wanted to see the officer's handcuffs!
