On Monday our Mother Goose lesson was all about living and non-living objects...
During circle time I taught the kids how to play a "Living vs. Non-Living" science game on the computer.
MGT provided us with this new questionnaire to help us determine if an object is living or non-living...
MGT also provided us with these photo cards to use. We sorted each photo into two groups: living and non-living.
Next, I read these two books to the kids...
We went on a leaf hunt outside...
While outside we also searched for items that were living and non-living...
When we got back, we used the leaves we found to make a page in a new classroom book...
Wow! What creativity!
I attached all the pages together to make one classroom book. MGT provided the cover, the yarn, and the pages...
The kids always love classroom books!
For story time I read this book...
On Monday we welcomed two new friends!!!
They had a great day and we enjoyed getting to know them!
Nap time at preschool... Such sweetness!
