I love love LOVE our new timer!!!! This timer is a great visual for the kids to see how much time we have left for eating meals, cleaning up, art projects, etc. It also beeps when the time has run out! I am certain the kids love it as much as I do! I want to get one for Emmett for piano lessons, reading minutes, etc.!
The blue ooze tube is a fun timer we use for taking turns with toys. It takes about four minutes for the ooze to reach the bottom, and then it can be turned back over to start again. A lot of times the kids will tattle on a friend and tell me "She/He is not sharing." My response has always been, "Sharing also means we have to wait our turn. Please get an ooze tube and wait your turn. If your friend doesn't share at that point, you can come and tell me."
