Service Station...

On Monday our Mother Goose lesson was about service stations.
(I didn't take a ton of photos on this day, so it does not include all of our activities.)
The kids started the morning working on the triangle shape page in their monthly journal...

They practiced building words in their literacy workbook...
...they also practiced writing those same words...

In their math workbook they drew 5 hot air balloons out of 3 shapes (circle, rectangle, and square)...
Then they built trains with train cars that had shapes on them.  They copied the trains that were printed in their books.
Mother Goose provided these supplies for a toolbox craft!  We talked about service stations, gas stations, and car washes.  We also discussed that a person who works on cars is called a mechanic.

All the kids really loved these toolboxes!!!
Our book for the day...
