Airplanes...

Our Mother Goose lesson Thursday was all about airplanes...
The kids have worked extra hard this month working in their workbooks again.  They finished up their literacy workbooks on this day...

During circle time we played an airplane shape recognition game...

We sang, "I'm An Airplane" to the tune of "London Bridges."
Mother Goose provided us with these supplies to make an airplane craft.  I needed to make and prep each child's ariplane, but the kids had fun coloring them and putting stickers on them.  Once the airplanes were complete the kids could put them on the straw and then blow them across the room!  They were so much fun!
Mother Goose also provided each child with this cut and paste runway.  The kids blew their airplane on the runway and identified what color, number or shape is landed on!  I love crafts that teach!

Lastly, Mother Goose also provided us with these foam triangles and shape design mats...

This was our book for the day...
