Animals...

Our Mother Goose lesson on Tuesday was all about using animals for a type of transportation...
The kids started the morning working in their workbooks...
This was a word building activity from their literacy workbook.

This was an ending sound activity that was also from their literacy workbook.

Before our craft for the day we read one of our favorite books together.  "Elmer" is a great book that teaches us being different is a good thing!
Mother Goose provided us with these supplies for a elephant mask craft...
A lot of the kids preferred to color their masks first instead of gluing the tissue paper squares on.  This was okay with me.  We saved a lot of the leftover tissue paper squares to add to our collage box!

The party blower that Mother Goose supplied for the elephant trunk was pure genius!  The kids L-O-V-E-D them!!!!
Mother Goose also provided us with this new Race Track board game!  The goal of the game was to be the first person to go around the race tracks three times and collect three checked flags!  I cannot express enough how much we all LOVE Mother Goose board games!!!!

K won the game!  Congrats K!!!!
 Our books for the day...
Our Scholastic book orders came in on Tuesday!!!!
With the help of all the orders I was able to purchase the following set of books for a discounted rate of only $5.00!  Thank you!  The kids have started listening to "Bear Can't Sleep" at our listening station!
