On Thursday of last week our Mother Goose lesson was all about chopping and stirring...
The kids worked on a few pages from their workbooks...
I set out the following supplies for a playdough station. The kids were encouraged to make food, and practice their knife cutting skills with a plastic knife. Mother Goose provided the numbered bowls and food pictures with cutting lines. The kids had a lot of fun with this one!
On Thursday of last week we received our book box in the mail!!!!
Thank you to all who ordered!
All the kids received stickers sheets from Scholastic!
With my bonus points I was able to purchase the following Pete the Cat books and plush for free!
Mother Goose provided each child with their own book on this day as well!
Budding reading...
My goal is to try and build our listening center books so that more than one child can hold a book at a time. Here the kids are listening to our Pete the Cat books...
Mother Goose also provided us with these new sight words arrows and sentence building words.
I always laminate our sentence building words and add magnets for our large magnetic whiteboard....
Our book for the day...
G.C. bought these new books for the preschool! Thank you! We also read a couple of these!
Just before nap we played with shaving cream at the tables! We mixed red paint to make pink, and the mixed in blue paint to make purple!!!
In the afternoon I put together fun new snow globes for each child to keep. They had a photo of themselves inside each globe!
I also introduced the kids to a couple of new Valentine's Day themed learning centers...
Measuring...
Rhyming...
Dice Heart Game...
