On Friday of last week we celebrated all our wonderful moms with a MUFFINS WITH MOM event! Mother Goose has been supplying us with new celebratory packets for all holidays this year, so I appreciate how easy they have been making these events for us! I am so thankful to have so many wonderful families in my preschool. All the moms are so loving and involved in their child's learning and growth!
Everyone could help themselves to a muffin, fruit, and drink of their choice (buffet style) during drop-off time in the morning...
I had conversation starters on the table...
I also purchased this open-ended muffin learning game. The kids could sort, make patterns, practice counting or compete to see who could fill their muffin tin first!
MGT provided us with this storytelling set...

While everyone ate, the kids presented their gifts to their moms!
The kids made a card, completed a questionnaire about their mom, and MGT provided the materials to make the ADORABLE owl craft!

Some of the moms had time to stay 'n' play before heading off to work!
The morning took a little more of our time, so I just had the kids worked on a couple of pages in their math and literacy workbooks and then we headed outside and enjoyed the GORGEOUS weather!
