On the Wednesday before Christmas Eve we completed the activities Mother Goose provided for us in our Santa's Workshop celebration pack. I am so thankful and impressed with all that Mother Goose Time has done to provide teachers with fun activities and resources for the holidays!
Here is the packet that was provided...
Mother Goose also provided invitations for teachers if they wanted to make it a party...
Mother Goose provided us with this new fun Santa beard game! The kids turned all the cards face down. When they turned over a number card, they placed a cotton ball on the same number on Santa's beard. If the kids chose the robber card, the game ended prematurely. The kids were encouraged to count how many cotton balls they got on Santa's beard before the game ended, and then try again.
Mother Goose also provided us with these storytelling pieces for "'Twas the Night Before Christmas!" I placed Velcro on the back of each piece, and left it out for the kids to explore with at our large felt board.
A reindeer action game...
Lastly, Mother Goose also provided us with the following supplies to make a Santa spoon puppet...
They turned out super cute!
For our snack time, we made the snack that Mother Goose recommended! Reindeer's made from graham crackers, pretzels, peanut butter, and M&M's...
The kids love to "cook!"
During the day the kids also completed a few foam Christmas crafts...
G's family also provided all the kids with this super fun snowman door hanger craft!
Lastly, the kids had fun playing Monopoly Jr.! L brought this game in to share!
