Another Mother Goose lesson last week was all about the Sahara Desert...
We learned that deserts are on ALL the 7 continents! Yes, even Antarctica! We were so stunned to learn that deserts can be icy and cold too! We had to search for images on Google!
Singing "In the Desert" to the tune of "Frere Jacques" as we pretended to take a drink of water...
A new participation story...
We passed the blue scarf around the circle. Each time I said the word "blue" the kids shook the blue scarf.
Mother Goose provided us with the following supplies to make a canteen dramatic play prop!
After painting our canteens, we had some leftover paint to use creatively!
Budding reading with mini-books from our literacy workbooks...
More workbook activities...
A new puzzle!
On Friday we made stain-glass looking shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day!
Photos of shamrocks coming soon!
