Animal Tracks...

On Tuesday our Mother Goose lesson was all about animal tracks!
The kids started the morning working in their math and literacy workbooks...

During circle time we sang, "Walk Like a Bear" to the tune of "Frere Jacques."  We also switched out the word "bear" for other animals.
Mother Goose provided the following supplies for a deer headband craft.  We decided to use red pom poms for the nose, instead of black.  We all sang "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" when our craft was complete.  I took a video, but I am not able to upload it very easily.  I will have to update this post with a group photo when I can...
Cutting out hands can take some serious concentration! :)

We made animal tracks in pretend "snow" with shaving cream and plastic toy animals at the tables! :)

Mother Goose provided this participation story that the kids had a blast acting out...

I love that Mother Goose Time also remembers to print discussion questions for this kids to think through...
This was our book for the day...
In the afternoon the kids made animal tracks on paper with ink pads and animal track stamps!

I also set out this fun new board game that Mother Goose provided for us!
Lastly, I set out this piano activity and musical book (we were not able to get to our daily lesson plan on pianos).
