Week 3: Feelings
Our book for the day was about a bear that could not get rid of his shadow. His shadow was scaring away the fish as he was fishing. We learned that the sun's placement is a key factor is determining where our shadow will be or not be.
We headed outside right away to trace our shadows. Our plan was to see how our shadows change by coming out later in the day and doing it again...
Unfortunately, the sun was hidden behind the clouds later in the day, so we couldn't see our shadows at all! This was a great mini lesson though too....we cannot see our shadows when it is cloudy outside!

This was a fun spider guessing game! The kids crawled in the web and tried to find the cup the spider was hidden under. When they found the spider, they made a scared face and then ran to something green in the room...
Green is the color we are learning about this month...
A new STEAM station in our sensory table (Science, Technology, Engineering and the Arts)...
