Our next Mother Goose Time lesson was all about growing and changing...
We learned about the life cycle of a frog and how it grows and changes. Then the kids played a baseball type of game with the life cycle wheel and the matching photos that MGT provided us!
Next, we planted grass seeds in a nylon footie to watch the grass seeds grown and change over time!
Next, I cut a piece of string that was the length of each child when they were born! The kids LOVED seeing how much they have grown! They also compared the length of their string to objects outside and to their friends strings!

UPDATE: When the grass started growing we were very excited!
The kids made grass head people!!! Some of the grass didn't grow, but the kids rolled with it! They called the ones with little grass "babies," and the ones with no grass at all they made hats and crowns for!
