C is for Camel...

Our letter C Mother Goose Time lesson...

The kids were given their new monthly journals.  They colored their favorite zoo animal on the front cover and added their name...

We used positional words to describe where the pictures our new magnifying glasses were on our monthly theme poster...

Camels can be very helpful because they can carry supplies that are needed!  We discussed ways we can be helpful this month.  Then I passed out our new "Bee Helpful" badges!

A is for Alligator...

Last week we started a new Mother Goose Time theme: A to Zoo!!! 
I am SO VERY EXCITED about this theme!  I plan to take this one into July because I don't to miss a single day of activities!  This is a great opportunity for the kids to review the letters of the alphabet while also learning many other interesting facts about animals!

The kids started the morning making A's out of playdough!

MGT gave each child their own A to Zoo book!  The kids will be reading from these new books all month long!  After our unit is over, I will encourage the kids to take their books to the zoo to try and find all the animals we learned about!
